Rất rộng, di chuyển chủ yếu bằng xe điện. Kiến trúc phòng đẹp và khá thoải mái. Có một nhà hàng sát biển trong khu này, nên tới đây ăn vào buổi sáng vì có thể nhìn thấy sóng biển trong lúc ăn, cảm giác hưởng thụ vô cùng. Điểm trừ duy nhất là vào giờ cao điểm, khó gọi xe phải chờ lâu

Ich muß leider sehr von diesem Hotel abraten. Sogar der Taxifahrer fragte warum wir ausgerechnet im grindigsten Hotel sind. - Am Kopfpolster war Kot! - Das Zimmer war stellenweise extrem dreckig. -Zimmerservice kam an 2 von 4 Tagen nicht. - Minibar wurde 2 Tage komplett leer gelassen obwohl tàgliche inkludierte Auffüllen versprochen war. - Der Weg vom Zimmer zur Lobby dauert 10-15min oder man muß lange auf das Shuttle warten. - Rezeption, Shuttle Service, Room Service und Service Center sind überarbeitet und heben nicht ab. - Essen im Restaurant kostet 5-10 mal so viel wie im Ort und schmeckt leider sehr unterdurchschnittlich. - Kein warmes Wasser im Bad - Für den Erhalt der Zimmerschlüssel muß man Bargeld hinterlegen. - Zimmerboden knarrt extrem bei jedem Schritt, man weckt unweigerlich seinen Zimmerpartner. - Motorradverleih betrügt bei Motorradrückgabe. - Resort ist sehr weit vom Ort entfernt. - Zimmer sind sehr alt und jedes Zimmer hat genau 23 unbeschriftete Lichtschalter, die Bedienung benötigt sehr lange Eingewöhnung. - Matratzen sind sehr durchgelegen. - Einrichtung ist schon sehr alt, durchlöchert und ausgebessert. - Zimmerservice dreht Klimaanlage entweder ab oder stellt sie von 25 auf 19ºC ein. - Rezeption / Management interessiert sich wenig für all diese genannten Probleme.

We spent three nights at Berjaya Langkawi Resort and overall had a good time, though there are definitely a few things that could be better.||What We Liked||The location is stunning - right in the middle of the rainforest, which makes it feel like a proper escape into nature. Spotting some of the wildlife such as Hornbill, dusky leaf monkeys, etc. was simply great! The resort is also just a short walk to the Oriental Village and Sky Cab, which was really convenient.||The buggy service around the property is handy. Yes, there’s a bit of waiting sometimes, but given how huge the resort is, it’s understandable.||The rainforest chalets were comfortable. The bathroom felt cramped, but the complimentary minibar was a nice surprise - stocked with drinks and snacks. We don’t drink alcohol, so the staff replaced the beers with soft drinks, which we appreciated.||The private beach is beautiful. We didn’t swim after spotting a jellyfish on our first evening, but the pool was fun, especially with its rain-shower feature.||What Could Be Better||Reception service could be friendlier and more attentive. We had emailed ahead asking for a room near the lobby/restaurant, but were first given one far away. After multiple requests, we were moved closer, and the partial sea view really did make our stay better - but it shouldn’t have taken so much effort.||Breakfast was generally good, with live cooking counters as well, but Indian vegetarian options were limited. Breakfast included dinner items (rajma, dal makhni on a couple of days) which needs to be looked at. |On one of the nights, there was a mix-up when we ordered veg pasta for our son - it turned out to be spaghetti despite confirming otherwise.||Being a 5‑star property, there should be more complimentary activities for kids - things like cycling, foosball, etc. were all chargeable.||On our last day, one of the shuttle drivers wasn’t keen on taking us to the Thai restaurant just for a quick photo stop, which felt unnecessarily rigid.||Individually these are small things, but together they do affect the overall experience. Compared to Thailand, we felt Malaysia’s hospitality has some catching up to do.||Final Thoughts||Berjaya Langkawi Resort is a beautiful property with a fantastic setting. With more attentive reception service and better food variety, it could easily go from being “pleasant” to “outstanding.”

Fantastic experience at a gorgeous hotel. Our room was perched over the sea (which is tidal so sometimes you could see the rocks below and other times lapping water) and there were hornbills and monkeys in the trees all over the resort. Plenty of options for where to eat but our favourite was the Thai which did amazing food and had splendid views. Every member of staff impressed us and went out of their way to be kind and helpful, we can't speak highly enough of the service.
